Juuust missed the focus on this! You've got some great elements here and it's obvious you were aware of in-camera composition...

Thinking Things I've Never Thought (121:11:14:06)

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 15, 2009, 9:47 PM
  • Mood: Adoration
  • Listening to: Eli 'Paperboy" Reed
As of late, I've understandably become increasingly anxious and weary over the idea of essentially becoming a vagrant as I attempt to make my way across the country. One of the odd byproducts of this new found nervousness is the thinking of things I've never thought of.

The recent question I've asked myself that's delaying sleep is what I want to accomplish through the means of turning life as I know it upside-down. What is it exactly that will urge me to continue forward when nothing else does?

As I tossed and turned relentlessly, I boiled down the answer to time, love and revolution.

a) I would love nothing more than to free myself from the tyranny of time and space. Seconds, minutes, hours and days ultimately should mean nothing. Each moment should be beautiful and meaningful, and the spaces in between those moments even more so. To live free of the constraints of a watch and limits of space. Nothing is a boundary, everything should be a path and everyone should share in the joy of erasing the imaginary lines that separate us.

b) To become a sponge of ideas, ideals and love to prove to myself and others that there are no differences between us. Our fears and dreams are ultimately the same and our goals should be unified. We love to highlight our uniqueness but we fail to recognize our oneness. To radiate and absorb unfiltered love - from and for - everyone and everything. To play a part in creating a ripple of love that might reach those who are looking for it.

c) To push for the creation of a foundation of love, trust and honesty for subsequent generations to build upon. Urge for the embrace of positive change that can start today. To get inspiration from others that might help start a revolution of loving honesty between everyone so that we can all live in the safe, healthy and happy world we all long for. Fundamentally change the way I look at how I've lived, and how I can improve and influence others to refine a wasteful lifestyle.

Ultimately, to dream the impossible dream.

"It's really true how nothin' matters
No mad, mad world and no mad hatters
Noone's pitchin' cause there ain't no batters
In Coconut Groove
Don't bar the door, there's no one comin'
The ocean's roar will dull the drummin'
Of any city thoughts and city ways
The ocean breezes cool my mind
The salty days are hers and mine
To do what we wanna
Tonight we'll find a dune that's ours
And softly she will speak the stars
Until sunup
It's all from havin' someone knowin'
Just which way your head is goin'
Who's always warm, like in the mornin'
In Coconut Groove" -Lovin' Spoonfuls

"Well I don't know what's going to happen now. We've got some difficulties ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountain top. I don't mind." -MLK

"So there you have it kids, the stupidest thing i've ever done. In one night I managed to hurt two people I cared about and none of it would have happened if I had just listened to my Mom." -Ted
